La Condamine, Monaco

Enjoy a morning cappuccino at La Condamine, a lively and attractive indoor market. Next to the local specialties like the barbarians, socca, pissaladieres also local cheeses, fish, provencal specialties, various breads and much more. On the square the herb and flower market. marvelous scents and a real meeting place for Monegasques!

Dining on the Terrace of the Socca d'Or, Nice

During summer, share a nice moment with friends, enjoying a chickpea flour pancake called Socca, a typical dish from Nice along with a fresh glass of rosé wine. The owner prepares the Socca in its huge socca pan, providing plenty of entertainment for customers.

Marche de la Liberation (Flowers & Vegetables Market of Liberation), Nice

Take the tramway to go along the main avenue, Jean Medecin, and stop at “Liberation.” Open Tuesday through Sunday mornings, this is certainly the best market in Nice, less crowded than in the old town with great fresh products.

Public Blue Bikes, Nice

It is easy to rent a public bike in Nice, with many stations all around the city. Take a leisurely ride from the Promenade des Anglais to the Harbour of Nice. They even have special bicycle protected lanes.

Discover the Palais des Rois de Majorque & Le Castillet

Perpignan is a cultural city with a rich heritage which includes the Palais des Roi de Majorque. This beautiful palace was built in the 13th century and one of the great fortress-palaces of the end of the Middle Ages. During a stay in Perpignan you have to visit the famous Castillet, an old gate to the city, built in the 14th century, and now a Museum of the Catalan Popular Arts and Traditions.

Jazz Festival in Juan les Pins

This festival is very famous as Sidney Bechet used to perform there, and he also composed his famous melody “in the streets of Antibes” in homage to the city. Today, it is located in the Pinède, a charming park located downtown, steps away from the sea!
