ORLANDO: OUR PICKS

Top things to do

Wekiwa Springs State Park

Experience true Florida nature at its best, located just east of Downtown Orlando at the headwaters of the Wekiva River. The park offers thirteen miles of trails, kayaking along the river, scenic picnic locations, and a cool spring for swimming.

Farmers Market

Saturday mornings at the Winter Park Farmers Market and grabbing the best lemonade and bagels in town!

Fun in the Sun

Relaxing on Cocoa Beach and hanging out at Coconuts Restaurant which has a great view and fantastic drinks.

Strolling Leu Gardens

Great date night watching their monthly movie in the Garden.

World Class Golf

Many of the golfers on the PGA tour live here too, so they tend to agree that Orlando offers some of the best courses in the country.

Disney’s Boardwalk

Stroll along the classic boardwalk, play afternoon midway games, get old fashioned ice cream, ride the surrey bikes, and catch parts of Epcot’s Illuminations fireworks for free.

Searchin' for my Lost Shaker of Salt

Margaritaville not only offers great food but entertainment as well. The Margaritaville radio station on Sirius XM broadcasts live from the Orlando Café every day.

Cheer on the Local College Team

University of Central Florida Knights – get there early for tailgating since parking tends to be a problem right before game time!

Catch a Live Concert

Enjoying concerts at House of Blues, Amway Center, and Hard Rock Live. Most of the biggest names in music have graced one of these stages!!

Farris and Foster’s Chocolate Factory

Fun activity for ladies night or an afternoon with the family.

Top places to eat

BB Kings

Offers live music daily and gives you a taste of Memphis with great blues and barbeque. The house band is amazing and so is the mac and cheese!

California Grill

Perched at the top of Disney’s Contemporary Resort, this fine dining gem offers the finest of Californian cooking with fresh, seasonal ingredients inspired by all the culture of the Pacific Coast state.

Margaritaville

A passport to a tropical paradise without leaving Orlando is why we love Margaritaville! Oh and they offer the best Margaritas in town too! Make sure to stop by to enjoy their live evening entertainment.

Rocco’s Tacos & Tequila Bar

A true taste of Mexico within a fun casual atmosphere. If you love tequila, then this is your place to try over 225 varieties! They have amazing lakefront views and offer a hip hangout for the late night crowd. Be sure to get there early because the place is always packed!

Fogo De Chao

Not the typical “all you can eat” Brazilian establishment. This is authentic Southern Brazilian food where the gaucho chefs come to your table with offerings of 16 kinds of meat as long as your marker is on green for “go.” Take it from us, come hungry and do not plan to eat for the next 24 hours after you leave!

Dragon Fly

The place to go for delicious authentic sushi and a great accommodating staff. Groups love to hang out in the trendy outdoor space.

4 Rivers Smokehouse

The Texas-style smokehouse is a must for brisket lovers! They take pride in their vision of “redefining the art of smoking one brisket at a time.” Oh, and the cheese grits are awesome too!

Season’s 52

A great place to dine and still feel healthy at the same time! Great food options and the waiters can tell you how many calories every dish has with their little handheld computer.

The Wine Room

Outstanding wine selection that showcases over 148 wines that can be sampled by the ounce or glass! In addition to the endless selections of wine, the menu is wonderful as well!

Johnnie’s Hideaway

Upscale restaurant but with a laid back atmosphere. We love the Key West style architecture and awesome wooden tiki deck. One of their featured entrees is Giant Madagascar Shrimp De Johnnie’s, which tastes delicious and is unique because only very few places in the U.S. are able to get them!

Eddie V's

Eddie V’s sets the tone for a comfortably sophisticated
environment, sparkling atmosphere, and sounds of live jazz that fill the air set the tone for an exceptional dining experience. They have an award-winning wine list of over 200 wines. Visit their V Lounge where you can sip classic and creative cocktails, and enjoy signature appetizers against a backdrop of soulful jazz and seductive lighting.

Top places to stay

Loews Portofino Bay

Located within the Universal Studios Orlando Resort, the Loews Portofino Bay transports you to the charming seaside village in Portofino, Italy. The architecture is spot on with the cobblestone paths, courtyards, and street cafes. We personally love the memorable performances by the Opera singers.

Wyndham Bonnet Creek

The Wyndham Bonnet Creek is a gorgeous Mediterranean inspired retreat that is nestled within the beautiful nature preserve of Bonnet Creek. The interior is beautiful and modern. It is perfect for small groups and offers both meeting room space and outdoor event space.

Don Cesar, St. Pete Beach

This beautiful property is located on one of the gorgeous Gulf of Mexico beaches and was originally known as the “Pink Palace” when it was built in 1928. The historically haunted hotel is the only four diamond beachfront hotel on St. Pete Beach hotel. And yes, we can even set up a ghost tour for our clients!

Hilton Bonnet Creek

A great full service hotel with extensive meeting space. It is surrounded by a beautiful nature reserve and the Walt Disney World Resort. This property is beautiful with its modern décor and offers all the fun and excitement of Disney at its doorstep. The property has an amazing pool with a 3-acre Florida-style lazy-river and is a great setting for evening events.

The Hyatt Regency Orlando

A luxurious hotel located next to the Orange County Convention Center and in a prime location for great restaurants and entertainment. One of only a few Forbes Four-Star, AAA Four Diamond hotels in the entire city.

Rosen Shingle Creek

The resort is nestled alongside Shingle Creek on 230 pristine acres that includes an outstanding golf course. The property is only minutes away from Orlando’s main airport and still close to some of the best entertainment venues, attractions, and restaurants that the city has to offer!

Disney’s Contemporary Resort

One of the only Disney resorts that was influenced by the vision of Walt Disney himself and just steps away from the Magic Kingdom. The futuristic design with the Disney Monorail running directly through the middle of the resort is what the Contemporary is best known for.

Arnold Palmer’s Bay Hill Club & Lodge

A beautiful property located away from the “hustle and bustle” of Orlando. This charming property is a paradise for those who love golf! If you are lucky, you might even meet “Arnie,” who is the nicest and most approachable golf legend in the world.

Waldorf Astoria Orlando

The Waldorf Astoria Orlando is a hidden gem within 482 pristine acres in Bonnet Creek and surrounded by the Walt Disney World Resort. This property offers luxury at its finest. We personally advise a scenic evening stroll along the cobblestone path next to the golf course for a soothing and peaceful end to the day.

Gaylord Palms

This resort draws from classic Florida architecture with a signature atrium that pays homage to three distinct Florida jewels including Key West, St. Augustine, and the Everglades. This property includes a convention center with a giant 178,500 sq.ft. exhibition hall. One of our favorite spots for events is within the two-story, Wreckers Sports Bar.

Four Seasons Resort at Walt Disney World

Four Seasons Resort Orlando is a stunning resort unlike any other. The resort includes a Tom Fazio-designed golf course, a sumptuous Spa, adult only pool, tennis courts and 450 contemporary style rooms and suites with spectacular views.
