Under Terrie’s guidance, AlliedPRA Santa Barbara has gained a reputation as the premiere destination management company in Santa Barbara and Ojai, California. Terrie is a member of the Santa Barbara Visitors and Convention Bureau and the Santa Barbara Chamber of Commerce. She also holds industry memberships with FICP (Finance & Insurance Conference Planners); ADME (Association of Destination Management Executives); and SITE (Society of Incentive & Travel Executives).

Originally from Washington State, Terrie has lived in Santa Barbara, California for the past eighteen years. She loves to travel, snow ski and has a passion for music and gardening. She also enjoys cooking and entertaining with close friends and family. In quieter moments, Thurston spends time reading, taking long walks along the beach and creative writing in the company of her two dogs. While Terrie has had the opportunity to work with many celebrities and stage grand shows and events, she says her most incredible “Aha” moment was meeting His Holiness the Dalai Lama.

Jeep Excursions

Rose Story Farm

Walk among more than 18,000 stunning rose plants in 150 varieties in this beautiful 15-acre farm featuring the majestic Santa Barbara mountains in the background. Owner Danielle Hahn talks about the farm’s history and the many varieties of roses. Guests visit the growing fields and enjoy an opportunity to see and smell individual roses.

Restaurateur Mitchell Sjerven hosts Santa Barbara’s first Wine Country Cuisine restaurant featuring nearly 100 wines by the glass exclusively from the Central Coast, Northern California, the Pacific Northwest as well as world wines available by bottle only. Bouchon’s philosophy on food embraces the use of indigenous products whenever possible.

Cava

Cielito

Cielito has been grandly restored respecting the elegance of the historic La Arcada, drawing guests in to an inviting and exhilarating experience. Befitting its name, Cielito’s high ceilings are illuminated by twinkling lights that give the space a celestial “little bit of heaven” feel. Several private dining and meeting spaces, complete with fireplaces and views overlooking the main dining room and courtyard below, make the mezzanine level the most requested seats in the house.

Jane

Jane is a family owned and operated business that specializes in the simplicity of deliciously prepared food with the freshest ingredients found at Santa Barbara’s local Farmers Market. Everything is made daily from scratch on the premises including all of the desserts, sauces, dressings and even the freshly baked breads.

Ca’ Dario

“Anything grilled is divine” and the rest of the menu is delectable at the charming Italian restaurant in Santa Barbara known for its excellent execution of simple pasta, meats and other classics plus a fantastic wine list with many available by the glass.
