Fueled by the client’s love of classic country music, the Grand Ole Opry House was the perfect setting to bring their progressive dinner to life. As guests arrived for the reception, impersonators of some of the client’s favorite country music stars greeted them with musical performances.
Guests were led by a custom parade filled with fiddlers and cloggers of all ages. Moving the guests from their cocktail hour in the lobby to the auditorium, all were treated to an exciting stage reveal. As the curtain rose, attendees were wowed with a spectacular music inspired reception dinner set, which featured custom appetizer trays created from authentic 78 records and vintage microphone centerpieces. Each detail from the tables to buffet décor reflected the client’s wish to honor this legendary hallmark venue and the music that made it famous.
The final leg of the evening fulfilled the client’s desire to bring the outside indoors. Following a tour of the backstage area, guests were greeted with a surprise after party. The normally blank studio space was transformed into a backyard music venue by using festoon lighting, a vintage truck and vintage camper. Eclectic retro furnishings were draped with quilts and mismatched pillows. A gigantic moon backdrop was the perfect setting for a trio of award winning singer/songwriters to wrap up the evening.
