AlliedPRA Inc., a global leader in the destination management company (DMC) sector, is pleased to share the exciting news that two AlliedPRA offices have been named ADMEI Achievement Award Winners from the prestigious Association of Destination Management Executives International (ADMEI) 2016 Achievement Awards according to Fran Rickenbach, CAE, IOM, Executive Vice President of ADME. With a large number of entries and a fierce field of competition, the AlliedPRA system came out on top with a record number of finalists this year and took home two Achievement Awards for the AlliedPRA Northern California and AlliedPRA San Diego teams. In addition, AlliedPRA Vice President, Industry Relations and Global Sales Director, Madelyn Marusa, was honored with the ADMEI Lifetime Achievement Award for her 30 years of service to the industry and inducted into the ADMEI Hall of Fame. The winners were announced during the ADMEI Achievement Awards ceremony in Oklahoma City, Oklahoma this month.
The first award was presented to AlliedPRA San Diego for Best Destination Marketing, for the CDX15 FAM, which is an annual program hosted by ConferenceDirect. Each year the company selects a destination to discover all it has to offer. AlliedPRA San Diego has the pleasure of partnering with the team, along with the Manchester Grand Hyatt to showcase some of San Diego’s most popular sites, as a premier and sought-after destination, while having the opportunities to demonstrate AlliedPRA’s capabilities as a leading Destination Management Company. The award-winning AlliedPRA team offered its expertise on complex transportation logistics, popular daytime activities, and exclusive off-site venues with a local twist that left lasting impressions among the guests.
The second award was presented to AlliedPRA Northern California for the ADMEI Member’s Choice Award for Grandmasters 2015. For the winning program, AlliedPRA Northern California was awarded the opportunity to be the DMC for the annual global business meeting and dealer incentive program for a high-profile automobile company. This group of 550 guests included delegates from 19 countries with each delegation requiring its own curated program, tailored to specific interests and budgets. As an incentive trip the ultimate goal was to reward the attendees who were the top dealers around the world. The majority of the guests were past attendees and the bar had been set high with past events. The AlliedPRA Northern California team worked hand-in-hand with the client to deliver options that would showcase iconic San Francisco and provide attendees with a good sense of the destination, but were also unique and exclusive. Through careful negotiations, strong supplier relationships and an experienced, creative and dedicated team, AlliedPRA Northern California was able to develop one of the most logistically complex and well-rounded program the office had ever produced. This program easily surpassed the memories of previous incentive trips and left guests knowing they were shown the best of the best and felt acknowledged for their hard work in earning their place on this trip.
Closing out the evening, Madelyn Marusa was inducted into the ADMEI Hall of Fame being recognized for her 30 years of service and contributions to the Destination Management Industry.
