SAN DIEGO, Calif., January 25, 2017 – AlliedPRA Inc., a global leader in the destination management company (DMC) sector, is pleased to share the exciting news that AlliedPRA Hawaii has received both an ADMEI Achievement Award and Excellence Award from the prestigious Association of Destination Management Executives International (ADMEI) 2017 Achievement Awards #ADMEI17, according to Fran Rickenbach, CAE, IOM, Executive Vice President of ADMEI. AlliedPRA Hawaii received the Best Innovative Events – $500,001 and Up for the Aloha Polo event, as well as the 2017 Excellence Award for Incentive Travel Programming or Service for The Big Kahuna, Riding Two Waves. The winners were announced during the ADMEI Achievement Awards ceremony in Barcelona, Spain this past weekend.

AlliedPRA Hawaii Polo MatchAlliedPRA Hawaii – Best Innovative Events – $500,001 and Up for Aloha Polo, as well as 2017 Excellence in Incentive Travel Programming or Service for its Big Kahuna – Riding Two Waves program, featured a never-been-done-before event setting for a financial and insurance company during a week full of island activities. The program spanned two islands and began with a five-day, 600-person incentive program on Maui, followed by a four-day, 280-person incentive on the Big Island. The company partnered with AlliedPRA Hawaii to create a farewell dinner which featured a polo-themed event on the 5th Fairway of the Ka’anapali Golf Course for 600 guests. The abbreviated exhibition polo match, champagne divot stomp and custom-built tent for dinner were a feat of creativity and innovation, which resulted in the highest program guest rating in this history of the company’s events.
